Mitsis Hotels Undertakes Management of New Luxury Resort in Halkidiki

Greek hospitality group Mitsis Hotels recently announced that it is expanding its activities with the management of an upcoming 5-star luxury resort in the prefecture of Halkidiki, northern Greece.

According to an announcement, Mitsis Hotels has entered into a 20-year property management agreement with Happy Holidays S.A., a company that operates in the wellness and thematic tourism fields.

Located in the coastal area of Sarti on the eastern side of the Sithonia peninsula in Halkidiki, the new luxury resort is expected to be completed and in operation in 2025.

Through its tourism management company FILOXENIA, Mitsis Hotels will define a specific brand concept for the resort and contribute to its pre-planning, which includes setting operational standards, performance management and the planning of technical, design and construction functions.

The new resort will have a total capacity of 150 rooms and a sea view. According to the detailed plans, the new resort will include a 5-star boutique hotel with a capacity of 52 rooms, swimming pools, conference center and spa center; a 5-star all-suites hotel with a capacity of 98 rooms, pools and thalassotherapy center; a F&B and retail square with an à la carte restaurant, shops and children’s area; and a tourist boat shelter with a capacity of 20 berths.

Mitsis Hotels will also fully undertake all actions for the start of the units’ activities by providing innovative hotel operations management services, which will include a customized booking platform, a growing database and strong Loyalty program.

The Group will aim for the optimal operation and efficiency of the new hotel resort in accordance to the most modern business standards and procedures.

Counting 45 years in tourism, the Mitsis Group has 19 hotels in its portfolio located in Athens, Kamena Vourla, Crete, Kos and Rhodes.
