Sporades Islands to Take Spotlight at Thessaly Expo in October
Greece’s Sporades islands will be the Honored Destination of the 1st Thessaly Expo.22, a new exhibition focusing on the region of Thessaly in Central Greece.
Co-organized by the Thessaly Region, the Karditsa Municipality, the Karditsa Chamber and TIF-Helexpo, the expo will take place in Karditsa’s tobacco warehouse complex during October 7-9 to promote the area’s businesses that are active in the fields of tourism, Food & Beverages.
The Sporades islands include the popular tourism destinations of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos.
Thessaly Expo.22 is the newest addition to the portfolio of TIF-Helexpo, Greece’s national exhibition body.
During October 7-9, it will promote local products and producers, as well as the area’s alternative tourism options, local traditions and its strong connection with the agrifood sector.
“Karditsa is located in the ‘heart’ of Greece. It is a typical example of the country’s multiple development opportunities and an ideal starting point for regional exhibition activities,” the management of TIF-Helexpo said.
“TIF-Helexpo has always recognized the role of the region and its businesses in the development of Greece’s economy. Having this in mind, it continues to enrich its exhibition program with new regional events.”
