Vigla Becomes Amorgos’ First Hotel to Offer E-bike Service

The four-star Vigla Hotel on the Greek island of Amorgos has added eco-friendly activities in its offer to its guests through a new e-bike service launched in collaboration with Kineo, a company that promotes micromobility through the use of light electric vehicles including e-bikes and scooters.

“With zero carbon emissions while staying fit at the same time, riding an electric bike proves to be the most enjoyable and fun way to go sightseeing or swimming in one of the numerous beaches of the island,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

Vigla’s collaboration with Kineo has made it the first hotel on Amorgos that offers this alternative transportation method to its guests apart from cars or motorbikes.

“We are very proud for this new activity as we focus on offering more sustainable services to our guests,” Vigla Hotel Managing Director Despina Giannakopoulou said.

Along with electric bikes, Vigla also offers its guests chargers, locks and helmets. The hotel’s expert staff will be on call to provide detailed information and instructions on safety issues.

“We invite visitors to explore Amorgos with one of our e-bikes and reduce their carbon footprint,” Giannakopoulou added.

To celebrate the launch of its new eco-friendly service, Vigla Hotel is offering a 15 percent discount for the months of September and October. More information can be provided by the hotel’s travel agency, Dream Blue, here.

Vigla’s guests can book their e-bikes online here or via email at info@vigla-amorgos.com or info@dreamblue.gr.
