TUI 2022 Awards: Greek Hotels Among Best for High Customer Satisfaction Scores, Sustainability

Five Greek hotels this year received the TUI Global Hotel Award, placing them among the best hotels of the tour operator globally for 2022.

TUI’s prestigious awards recognise hotels that have received outstandingly high satisfaction scores from its customers and demonstrated their commitment to sustainability.

“Year-after-year our hotel partners have helped us create unforgettable holidays for our customers,” said David Burling, CEO Markets & Airlines TUI Group, during a virtual ceremony streamed on Wednesday.

TUI’s Best Hotel Globally and Best Hotel Eastern Mediterranean for 2022: Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites, Rhodes.

The tour operator honored six of its partners in Greece with the Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites on Rhodes winning the titles of Best Hotel Globally and Best Hotel Eastern Mediterranean.

The Best Hotel TUI Netherlands award went to the Time to Smile Meraki on Lesvos and the Best Club TUI France honor was received by the Marmara Zorbas Beach on Kos.

The Casa Blu on Crete scooped the Best Hotel TUI UK & Ireland award for 2022 and the Atlantica Imperial Resort on Rhodes was crowned Best Hotel TUI Nordics this year.

The Creta Maris Beach Resort on Crete was recognised for sustainability and received special commendation.

TUI’s winners for sustainability this year were Mallorca’s Hotel Riu Festival and Hotel Riu San Francisco.

Moreover, the Blue Diamond Resort, Punta Cana Hotel Group in the Dominican Republic received the TUI Care Foundation award for 2022.

Best Hotel TUI Nordics 2022: Atlantica Imperial Resort, Rhodes.

Commenting on the TUI Global Hotel Awards winners for 2022, TUI Group’s David Burling highlighted that despite the challenges of restrictions and ever-changing travel advice due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tour operator’s hotel partners worked “harder than ever” to deliver outstandingly high customer satisfaction.

“Its more important than ever to recognise their incredible achievements,” he said.

Special commendation for sustainability: Creta Maris Beach Resort, Crete.

TUI also awarded partner hotels in the Maldives (Best Hotel Long Haul – ROBINSON NOONU), the Gran Canaria (Best Hotel Western Mediterranean – Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia, Best Hotel TUI Belgium – Hotel Riu Palace Meloneras), Austria (Best Hotel Overland – ROBINSON AMADÉ) and Turkey (Best Hotel TUI Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland – TUI BLUE Palm Garden).

TUI will hold local events across the summer to present hotel partners with their awards.
