Greek Ministries Join Forces to Take Fishing Tourism to Next Level

Deputy Tourism Minister Sofia Zacharaki and Deputy Agricultural Minister Simos Kedikoglou recently signed a memorandum of cooperation for the promotion and development of fishing tourism in Greece.

According to the deputy tourism minister, the memorandum foresees the launch of initiatives aimed at promoting fisheries through new and innovative activities.

The planned initiatives are expected to open new horizons for the enrichment of the Greek tourism product.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the two Greek ministries will proceed for the first time with the preparation and implementation of a “National Strategy for the Promotion of Fishing Tourism”.
