Helpdesk: New Service for Greek Hoteliers Informs on Business Growth Funding
The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) has announced the launch of its Helpdesk service, a new information platform for hoteliers seeking funding opportunities to grow their business.
“Funding is a significant tool for Greek hospitality, which after a difficult period, needs to move fast towards a sustainable future of quality and competitiveness,” the chamber’s president, Alexandros Vassilikos, said during an online press event on Tuesday.
Developed in collaboration with Ernst & Young, the Helpdesk acts as an online interactive guide and offers information on national and EU funding programs.
The new platform aims to provide Greek hotels – especially small and medium-sized enterprises – with direct access to information as well as support their search for appropriate financing.
Through a step by step process the Helpdesk guides users through the concept, goals and procedures of each funding program.
It also helps hospitality enterprises easily identify and immediately claim funding opportunities based on their features and needs.
In addition, the Helpdesk will soon offer technical guidance and advice through a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section.
During the press event, Vassilikos invited the chamber’s members to enter the platform and explore its potential.
According to the chamber’s president, the absorption of national and EU funds would help Greek hoteliers build a strategy for the post-pandemic era.
“We must take advantage of the circumstances to recover fast, transform and meet future challenges,” he underlined.
The new Helpdesk service is available at https://grhotelsey.azurewebsites.net (user name and password is needed).
Users will also find a seven- minute video that will help them browse the platform and use the tools provided.
