Xenia 2021 Tourism Expo Ready to Welcome Industry’s Decision Makers

The Xenia 2021 tourism exhibition is ready to welcome thousands of industry experts and decision makers to the Metropolitan Expo in Athens during November 27-29.

The exhibition this year will focus on the recovery of Greek tourism in the post-Covid-19 era and aim to contribute to the sector’s dynamic development ahead of the 2022 tourism season.

“Xenia 2021 is coming to contribute to the dynamic recovery of tourism and to create – together with its 350 exhibitors – a bright lucrative and more competitive future for industry professionals,” the exhibition’s organizer Forum SA said in an announcement.

A Covid-free expo

Xenia 2021 will be a Covid-19 free event.

Admission will be allowed only to Green Pass holders indicating full vaccination status or Covid-19 recovery.

This is in line with the health protocols announced earlier this year by health authorities for the organization of trade fairs.

Apart from offering a large exhibition stage, Xenia 2021 will also host the following parallel events:

  • 5th International Hospitality Forum

The 5th International Hospitality Forum, this year will focus on the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as on the ability of the tourism industry to adapt to the rapid changes and achieve long-term viability and sustainability.

Organized by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), the forum will be held as a hybrid event on November 27.

  • Xenia Build Hotel

The key role of hotel infrastructure in sustainable tourism development and the contribution of the construction sector will be highlighted through the Xenia Build Hotel event.

It will be held under the theme, “Sustainability: Design and Challenges” in Hall 2, between November 27-29.

  • Xenia Digi Hotel

Digital marketing experts will present the latest developments, trends and challenges in global tourism. The event will also focus on the dominant role of digitalization in the viability of the hospitality industry.

The Xenia Digi Hotel will be held during November 27-29.

  • Greek Breakfast

“Greek Breakfast”, an initiative of the Hellenic Chanber of Hotels aiming to promote Greece’s products and recipes, will also be present at the Xenia 2021 expo.

The initiative will welcome tourism professionals in an specially designed stand where it will showcase Greek gastronomy, summer and winter destinations, culinary activities and proposals.
