Metaxa Hospitality Group Aims to Protect Workers, Guests and Tourism from Covid-19

Aiming to protect its employees, hotel guests and the tourism sector from the pandemic, the Metaxa Hospitality Group has announced its support to Greece’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

According to a company announcement, the hospitality group has adopted three actions that involve its employees:

– It is offering a bonus of 200 euros as an incentive to each worker who gets at least one jab of the vaccine by August 5.
– It is organizing free online discussions with health experts to provide scientific and in-depth information to its staff and help them overcome any concerns they may have on getting vaccinated.
– It makes certain that all its unvaccinated employees are tested against Covid-19 twice a week and covers the cost for those who have had at least one dose of the vaccine as a sign of support and respect for their contribution.

“The Metaxa Hospitality Group, with respect for the people, participates in every effort that will protect the employees, the visitors and the tourism product of the country as a whole,” the company said.

Based on the Greek island of Crete, the Metaxa Hospitality Group is an internationally recognized and award-winning company. The group’s portfolio includes the Creta Maris Beach Resort (681 rooms), the Magic Life Candia Maris and the Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa (57 rooms) on Santorini.
