Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery, the new property in the portfolio of Lampsa Hellenic Hotels SA, has announced its opening on September 1, in the center of the Greek capital.
An investment of 25 million euros, the hotel will offer art in all its expressions, contemporary gastronomy and superb accommodations.
“We look forward to the opening of Athens Capital Hotel as it is the first ever MGallery Collection Hotel in Greece and will introduce this Accor brand as a premium addition to the excellent establishments which comprise our presence in the country,” said Jean-Charles Delgado, COO of Accor Southern Europe.
The hotel will feature a total of 177 rooms, including 18 suites and one impressive Presidential Suite.
Each room has its own aesthetic with the sheer elegance of pure lines and designs that integrate Greek symbols and patterns.
The hotel’s restaurant and bars offer distinctive cuisine and warm personalised service. The MFlavours Main Restaurant will take its guests on a journey to the Mediterranean in its elegant yet relaxed setting, while the Galerie Café on the ground floor is set to become the new urban meeting point in the heart of Athens.
The Mappemonde Rooftop Pool Bar shares its panoramic views of multifaceted Athens from morning till night and is adorned with the most impressive part of the Mappemonde installation, a stunning collection by artist George Lappas that was created in 1988 and includes 3,000 pieces.
Since storytelling is an important part of the MGallery Collection, each guest will be able to get its own special “Iconic Object”, an item of great significance for the city, as well as a “Memorable Moment”, an experience that reveals the distinctive character of the area.
The MGallery brand includes more than 100 illustrious boutique hotels around the world. Each MGallery property narrates a unique story inspired by the destination.
