Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel Reopens its Doors
The Sofitel Athens Airport hotel, located near the Greek capital’s airport, has reopened its doors to receive visitors from Greece and abroad.
The hotel has joined Greece’s efforts to restart tourism by putting emphasis on the safety of its guests and staff.
“After this unprecedented situation for worldwide tourism, Sofitel Athens Airport reopened its doors to offer authentic Greek tourism services… Aiming to provide high-level hospitality experiences focusing on our guests, we have implemented enhanced health protocols, which allow us to offer the highest standards of safety. These measures are completely in line with the instructions of government bodies, and Accor’s policy,” said Sofitel Athens Airport General Manager George Stavrou.
The hotel has adopted the “Health First” prevention protocols for COVID-19, as well as Accor’s international standards.
Furthermore, Sofitel Athens Airport has been certified by TÜV Hellas/TÜV Nord for the design and implementation of its health measures, while its team has been retrained in accordance with the new circumstances.
In addition, through the strategic collaboration of Accor with AXA, the hotel’s guests have access to medical teleconsultations and AXA’s extended network of medical services.
A member of Accor Group, Sofitel Athens Airport is located close to the arrivals terminal of the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”.
