Ellinair Waives Flight Change Fees for New Bookings

Mouzenidis Group airline Ellinair has announced that it is waiving flight change fees on newly booked tickets, aiming to give passengers more flexibility for their travel plans due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The airline’s policy applies to all tickets purchased between March 13-31 and concerns all Ellinair routes for travel dates until October 24.

In an announcement, the airline underlined that free rebooking is valid only for same fare level and not for fare upgrade, where fare difference applies.

Another basic requirement is the on-time cancellation and the simultaneous selection of the new travel dates.

On Tuesday, Ellinair informed customers that for individual tickets issued until March 8 for travel on its regular routes until March 31, it offers the following options:

change of ticket date without a reservation fee (fare difference may apply) if the new travel dates are stated during the cancellation of the old reservation. Eligible for travel until October 24.

to change it to an open ticket with the option of changing the date for one year from the date of issue is offered, with the corresponding charges (possible fare difference, rebooking fee etc).

For further information, passengers can contact Ellinair’s call center at 801 1008182, +30 2311 224700 or send an email to customer.service@ellinair.com.
