Belgian TV Show ‘De Mol’ Films in Greece
Greek popular and lesser-known destinations are featured in the eighth season of Belgian reality TV game show “De Mol” (The Mole), the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) announced on Thursday.
Broadcast by Vier Channel, the nine-episode TV show was filmed in October 2019 in Epirus, Meteora, Corinth, Arcadia, Messinia and Athens, with the support of the GNTO office in The Netherlands.
According to the GNTO, Greece was selected as the show’s exclusive filming location among 11 other destinations.
“GNTO’s initiative was part of efforts to promote Greece to Belgium during the pre-booking period and enhance the country’s image as a diverse tourism destination that offers a plethora of alternative activities,” the organization said.

The eighth season of “De Mol” will launch on March 8 on Vier Channel.
The reality game show ranks first in TV ratings among Belgian and Dutch viewers. Every episode of De Mol attracts 1,485,537 viewers on average, while its social media impact is also high.
