In 2016, was Greece visited by 265,000 Czech tourists, one year later it was 40 percent more and after another increase, it was a record of 472,000 tourists in 2018.
According to the statistics of travel agencies associated with the Association of Czech Travel Agencies, further growth for the 2019 season is promised.
Members of the Association see the main competitive advantage of Greece in a high number of 4 and 5-star quality hotels, which provide adequate services and have an excellent pricing policy, for which Czech tourists are very sensitive. The average length of stay is approx. 10 days.
The Association of Czech Travel Agencies is a non-governmental non-profit professional organization that associates travel agencies and travel agents operating in both outbound and inbound as well as domestic tourism. This Association is the oldest organization of its kind in the Czech Republic.
