Greek Image and Video Bank ‘AeroViewer’ Updates Online Presence

AeroViewer, a Greek online bank of aerial photos and videos, has launched the redesigned new version of its platform that includes material from Greece and other Mediterranean destinations.

Created by Geotag Aeroview, the platform currently includes 800,000 aerial photos and 1,000,000 seconds of videos of the entire Mediterranean region, shot from a helicopter.

“This unique rich material, offers the platform’s users the opportunity to easily select photos and images of their interest with just one click,” the company said in an announcement.

Featuring significant technology innovations, the AeroViewer platform, can also serve as a marketplace for videos and photos captured by drones. Therefore, it calls on drone operators around the world to upload legal photo and video material, which can be available for sale to users seeking high-quality visual material.

Meanwhile, AeroViewer’s DigiShare Service allows users to select customized video-clips and slideshows and deploy them instantly to any website, blog or social network.. “This service allows users to choose the exact starting and ending point of the video they want to use and be charged accordingly,” the company said.

AeroViewer also offers advanced web tools, offering users the option to search for photos and videos of destinations just by clicking on the platform’s online map. This makes the platform’s material ideal for use by individuals and enterprises active in the tourism industry.

Furthermore, the platform has a special pricing policy, as its videos are charged per second and not per stock footage.
