Elatos Resort Invites All to Experience ‘1st XTERRA‘ Multi-sport Event

The Elatos Resort & Health Club, located on Mount Parnassos in central Greece, between May 31 – June 2 will host the 1st XTERRA – Elatos Resort Experience, a multi-sport event for children and adults.

Organized by Elatos, XTERRA Greece and TRIMORE Multisports Tour, the three-day event will combine a number of sports activities with accommodation in the resort’s luxurious chalets nestled in nature. Under the motto “live more, taste nature”, the event will aim to offer participants the opportunity to escape from everyday life, as well as exercise.

“Our aim is to create the ultimate sports and entertainment experience, not only for ultra athletes but also for amateurs, as well as families. We wish for all participants to live this unique experience, and build bonds that will bring them closer to other people and families,” said TRIMORE Multisports Tour owner, Konstantinos Mitropappas, during a press trip held recently at the Elatos Resort & Health Club.

The resort’s executives also expressed their hope that the multi-sport event will contribute to the development of sports tourism in the wider region.

The 1st XTERRA – Elatos Resort Experience will include the following races:

• Run/Bike with Kid (parent and kid),
• Team Run (pair with your kid),
• Cross Running (for a team of three persons),
• Cross Duathlon (running and cycling),
• In Hall Kids TRI (swimming, cycling and running).

Furthermore, the event will include a night walk for two groups; inspirational games (scrabble), a pasta-for-all party, a stargazing event and cycling activities with wooden Coco-mat bicycles.

The participants – families couples and groups of friends – will be hosted by Elatos in 39 unique wooden chalets. The Elatos Resort & Health Club also includes an indoor heated pool, a gym, a spa, a restaurant and a bar.
