The latest trends and developments in the global hospitality industry will be discussed during the 2nd International Hospitality Forum, which will be held on November 24, at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens.
Organized by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH), the forum will take place on the sidelines of the Xenia 2018 hospitality trade show and host leading foreign and Greek experts from the tourism industry, the academic community and consulting companies.
“The International Hospitality Forum has become the annual meeting point, a way to inform and educate the hospitality enterprises of this country and all those interested in tourism,” said HCH president Alexandros Vassilikos.
“We continue our mission to effectively support our members in their efforts to adapt to the constantly increasing competition and to prepare for the major challenges ahead,” Vassilikos added.
The discussion will focus on the following topics:
– Data is the new oil: Ways of using data to improve traveler experience and increase hotel revenues,
– Getting digital: The new digital sales and distribution channels for the hospitality product,
– Investments in the hospitality sector: Trends and obstacles,
– Sharing economy: Learning from the competition of long-term rentals.
