Shipping professionals visiting the Posidonia 2018 trade event that recently took place in Athens, had the chance to experience Qatari hospitality at the stand of Qatar Airways, the exhibition’s official airline partner.

Posidonia 2018 is the world’s most prestigious biennial shipping event and one of the longest standing international maritime trade shows.

Throughout the days of the exhibition, the airline’s cabin crew hosted a demo of its new “First in Business” Qsuite Business Class Seat that features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class, has privacy panels that stow away and allows passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room.

“This new revolutionary cabin offers an unparalleled Business Class experience and we are happy that we were able to allow Posidonia visitors to experience the new standard of luxury, comfort and customisation Qsuite offers,” Theresa Cissell, Qatar Airways Country Manager for Greece & Cyprus, told GTP Headlines.

During a special cocktail party hosted by Qatar Airways executives, shipping and tourism professionals had the chance to personally experience the airline’s award-winning Business Class comfort and also taste the Business Class menu which is served aboard QR aircraft. The event was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Greece Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama and leading Greek and international shipping and tourism professionals.
