The Marriott Group recently honored the sales, marketing and corporate relations department of its commercial partner in Greece, Ledra Hotels and Villas SA, with the BMSC 2017 Global ELITE Award.
The company was announced the best in the world, among the respective departments of 6500 hotels and resorts of Marriott Group, being granted the special global distinction .
“One of the hotels of Ledra Hotels and Villas SA posted the highest indicator of revenue per available room (RevPAR) amongst all the units incorporated in the Marriott franchise portfolio,” said Marie Bull, senior director of franchise sales, marketing and revenue management for Europe at Marriott International, referring to it as an “amazing achievement” due to the number and diversity of the Group hotels. In the second hotel of Ledra Hotels and Villas Marriott cooperates with, the revenue per available room indicator rose by 70 percent in the previous year.
Besides the financial performance, Marriott group honored the Ledra Hotels and Villas SA marketing team for adequately covering the needs of customers, for the individualized approach it adopts serving customers’ demands, for the strategic targeted promotion it implements and the drawing up of a holistic commercial policy placing emphasis on the value of offered services.

The company’s two resorts have been included in the Autograph Collection Hotels network since 2016.
The Domes Noruz Chania Autograph Collection is an adult-only, five-star complex with 83 rooms and suites with a special architecture, inspired by the cultural heritage of Chania region. It is located on the coast of Agioi Apostoloi.
The Domes of Elounda Authograph Collection in Elounda, Crete, includes 78 suites and outdoor heated jacuzzi and a private pool, 31 Premium single-bedroom suites, 42 family suites, 5 luxury two-room family suites. In addition, it owns 40 private residences.
The company plans to further expand the Domes of Elounda Autograph Collection adding at least 65 suites and lofts in 2019.
