Creta Maris Honored for Business Excellence in Tourism

Creta Maris Beach Resort general manager Nikos Vlassiadis received the award from Sani Resort sales and marketing manager Antonis Avdelas.
The Creta Maris Beach Resort, located on the island of Crete, was recently honored at the “Treasures of Greek Tourism 2017” awards for its excellence in business and tourism, in a ceremony held at the King George hotel in Athens.
The resort’s general manager Nikos Vlassiadis received the award from Sani Resort sales and marketing manager Antonis Avdelas.
The Treasures of Greek Tourism 2017 awards, “recognize excellence and reward Greek tourism enterprises that promote Greece’s advantages abroad; boost the economy; support the local markets, while offering a significant number of jobs amid a changeling economic period for Greece,” Creta Maris said in an announcement.
The evaluation process is based on specific economic indicators and criteria, including profitability, debt, liquidity and the companies’ equity to foreign capital. Other factors also taken under consideration are the company’s invested capital, human resources policy and corporate social responsibility practices.
The event was held within the framework of the “Excellence of Greek Tourist Enterprises” event, organized by New Times Publishing.
The Creta Maris Beach Resort is located in Hersonissos on Crete. It is part of the Metaxas Group of Companies and has been operating since 1975. It includes 680 rooms, suites and bungalows, six restaurants, seven bars, seven swimming pools, a gym, a hammam spa, the Asterias Children’s Club and spacious facilities for outdoor and indoor activities.
