The Arion Athens, a modern boutique hotel located in Psyrri and member of TourHotel Group, recently unveiled a new multi-functional space to host meetings, events and conferences.

The launch of the new meeting space took place on February 1 and was attended by many representatives from the Greek tourism and hospitality industry, business world and media.

Featuring state-of-the-art equipment and swathed in natural light, the new space creates a mood ideally suited to productive work during a conference. Moreover, the space is ideal for hosting exclusive business meetings, seminars, conferences, cocktail receptions, product launches, exhibitions, luncheons and dinners.

“The new Arion Athens contemporary meeting space was created to meet the needs of the modern business traveler, who is seeking hotels that combine comfortable accommodation with the use of conference facilities”, TourHotel’s Sofia Kalfopoulou said.

“The Arion Athens Hotel and its new spaces are characterized by a modern design and comfortable ambience all with the highest standards guests have come to expect from a 3-star hotel”, Kalfopoulou added.

Located in the Psyrri district in Monastiraki, the Arion Athens Hotel also offers breathtaking views of the Acropolis and the city of Athens from the roof garden on the 7th floor.

The hotel is accessible by metro, tram, bus or taxi and has direct access to both Athens International Airport and the Piraeus Port.

TourHotel Group, of the Stathopoulos family, has three hotels in Athens — Acropolis Hill Hotel, Arion Athens Hotel, Achilleas Hotel –and a beach hotel in the Peloponnese — Kalamaki Beach Hotel.

The Stathopoulos family has been providing services in the Greek hospitality industry since the 1950s. “Today, as successors of the family history, we continue to offer our valued guests our services with love, pride, and respect to the value of Philoxenia, the ancient Greek tradition of hospitality”, Kalfopoulou highlighted.

Arion’s event included wine tasting from Domaine Spiropoulos and a retrospective art exhibition of works of artist Lydia Gravvanis who passed away in 1998 leaving behind a body of important artistic work. The art exhibition will run until the end of February 2017.
