Modernized Rigas Hotel on Skopelos Ready to Offer the Best
Located on the lush island of Skopelos, the Rigas Hotel underwent major renovation works under the guidance of prominent Greek-Australian architect Nikos Chatzigiannakis and landscape architect Christos Mortoglou and is now welcoming visitors with the finest that Greek hospitality has to offer.
A member of the Spyrou Hotels group, Rigas Hotel management proceeded with major top-to-bottom refurbishment including the lobby and restaurant area, pool, outdoor areas and hotel grounds, façade and corridors.
The 95 rooms and suites are now equipped with the latest in furniture and fixings including flat screen television, high-speed internet access, in-room safe, mini fridge, furnished verandas and individually controlled air conditioning units.
Meanwhile, the surrounding area has become a mini paradise thanks to the inspiring landscaping and village-style “square” for live music happenings, barbecues and mingling set beside the upgraded pool area complete with deck and comforts. The hotel also includes a new park area catering to families and kiddies with a fully-fledged playground ready for action.
Rivas Hotel has remained true to the traditional architecture of the island, offering visitors a true experience during their stay.
“Rigas Hotel now offers guests excellent service in addition to upgraded facilities and hotel amenities designed for the most discerning traveler,” says George Michalis, general director Spyrou Hotels.
