Travelport Works With transavia.com To Help Travel Agents
Travelport, a leading distribution services for the global travel industry, and low cost carrier transavia.com have joined forces to develop a range of travel agency-focused initiatives. The initiatives are aimed to make booking transavia.com through Travelport a fast and efficient experience.
The cooperation follows transavia.com’s implementation in the Travelport Merchandising Platform last year that enabled their content to be shopped, compared and displayed alongside other carriers in a single screen.
“With its innovative platform and its large network of connected travel agents, Travelport allows us to reach customers in several key countries, supporting our European expansion plans,” said Transavia’s Hester Bruijninckx.
With the objective of creating awareness of the new content and making it an obvious choice to book, a wide range of initiatives have been developed including the production of training materials as well as a number of diverse communications and promotional activities.
