Two More Greek Thermal Springs Certified
Two new Greek thermal springs were recognized by the Natural Thermal Resources Protection Committee, which was recently re-activated by the Greek Tourism Ministry.
According to a press release, the committee has recognized the thermal springs Gialtra in Edipsos, Evia, and Hanopoulos of the Arta prefecture.
The ministry aims to continue recognizing thermal springs throughout Greece to include them within the overall development of the national tourism product.
It is reminded that the Natural Thermal Resources Protection Committee had recently certified the following thermal springs: Loutraki-Pozar (Aridaia), Souroti (Thessaloniki), Kanistra (Kassandra, Chalkidiki), Kallithea (Rhodes), Loutraki-Perachora (Corinth), Thermi (Thessaloniki) and Parenesti (Drama).
