High Profile Hosted Buyers Registered for Greek Tourism Expo 2017

The Greek Tourism Expo 2017 has announced that a highly anticipated list of international hosted buyers will participate in its fourth edition taking place December 8-10 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens.

“Sales dynamic in Greece is about to overcome every expectation based on the strong will of the hosted buyers participating in Greek Tourism Expo 2017,” the exhibition’s organizer Leaderexpo said in an announcement.

According to Leaderexpo, the hosted buyers representing top level tour operators, travel agencies, MICE buyers and associations, are from Germany, Turkey, Russia, the United States, Lebanon, Kuwait, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.

The confirmed international hosted buyers will be available for B2B meetings with Greek exhibitors, organizations and tourism bodies.

“The hosted buyers have expressed their will to increase their sales in every category of tourism that Greece provides,” Leaderexpo said, adding that many of them are searching for new collaborations.

The top level hosted buyers interested in increase its Greek sales or launching agreements in Greece will include a German tour operator that has a history of 22 years and some 35,000 incoming tourists in Greece; a US-based travel agency and MICE company that specializes in luxury travel; a UK-based wedding planner that has many international awards in leisure and wedding travel; an online wholesaler from Kuwait that has a roster of 11,000 destinations in cities in Europe, Asia, Middle East, the US and Canada; a tour operator, OTA and BedBank from Iran that collaborates with more than 347,000 hotels and resorts all over the world;a tour operator, a MICE buyer from United Arab Emirates that brought 10,000 tourists to Greece in 2016; a MICE and business travel company from Turkey that is an organizer of leading congresses, incentives and events with global clients such as Wella, Peugeot, Nestle, Mudo and Seker Bank; a travel agency from Ekaterinburg in Russia that channels large numbers of tourists to Greece; a MICE company from Hong Kong that invests in infrastructure, energy and real estate; and a travel agency from Belgium that collaborates with world-renowned tour operators.

A leading tour operator, travel agency, OTA and MICE buyer from Lebanon that has a list of more than 60,000 partner hotels worldwide will also participate in the Greek Tourism Expo 2017. “Its top sales in outcoming tourism and its strong credibility in online booking since 2007, has brought this tour operator to the top of the Arabic community,” Leaderexpo said.
