Fashion Retail Giant ‘Forever 21’ to Hit Greece
LA-based apparel company Forever 21 is set to open its first shop in Athens in the first half of 2017 and plans to launch additional shops across Greece in the coming year.
The fifth largest fast-fashion retailer in the United States, Forever 21 offers a wide variety of trendy fashion wear at cheap prices including clothing, accessories and beauty products for women, men, and girls.
The company has been expanding into foreign markets since last April through its exclusive franchisee Teren Management Europe, which holds the rights for the brand in 12 European countries. Forever 21 is expected to operate 20 shops in European cities in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Switzerland and Portugal by the end of this year. The Lisbon and Poland shops are up for launch in the following days.
Founded in 1984 initially as Fashion 21, Forever 21 now operates 750 stores in 49 countries and generates $4.4 billion in revenue annually.
