Greek Freight Transport Examined at Day Event
Reliable and economical international freight transport was the focus of a day event held last month by the Supply Chain Institute with over 100 professionals from the trade, airline and customs sectors in attendance.
A round-table discussion, headed by the Greek Association of International Freight Forwarders & Logistics Enterprises, included issues such as the new code to take effect in May, the simplification of procedures, freight forwarding costs, exports and imports and many more challenges affecting the industry.
Among those present was SAAE (Hellenic Association of Airline Representatives) representative and owner of Freight Plus SA, Yiannis Lentzakis, who discussed the potential of air transport with emphasis on the support of Greek exports as well as the high quality services offered at Athens International Airport.
