Rhodes Gets Ready for 2nd International Marathon
The island of Rhodes in Greece will kick off its 2nd International “Roads to Rhodes” Marathon on April 26.
Runners will experience all the ancient and medieval history that surrounds on of the most popular Greek islands as they run along the seaside with a view of the deep blue Aegean Sea.
Αll races (5km, 10km and Marathon-42,195 km) will begin along the beautiful sea coast and finish in the Rhodes city center where a festive crowd will await. The course of the marathon is designed to offer runners an optimal course with spectacular scenery and a chance to experience the real history of ancient Rhodes.
A 1km Elementary School Students Race will also be held.

The Rhodes marathon has the official approval of the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS), AIMS & IAAF which ensures the validity and the international recognition of the race.
