TBEX Travel Bloggers Enjoy Athenian Hospitality At Pandrossou Street “Farewell” Party – Photo Report
This year’s TBEX, the Travel Blog Exchange European Conference, said goodbye to Athens with a farewell event that gave the hundreds of travel bloggers visiting the city the opportunity to discover an alternative and authentic side of the everyday life in the center of the Greek capital.
The event was a big street party organized by the shop owners of “Pandrossou Street Market” in collaboration with the Athens Traders’ Association that included everything: outdoor workshops, the tasting of traditional products, music and dance happenings and even a cooking class.
The evening also offered a performance by the Greek National Opera, a DJ set by En Lefko radio, and the Greek Music Ensemble of the City of Athens.
All events aimed to create a festive atmosphere to say the perfect “farewell” to the city’s new friends.
Pandrossou Street (The Plaka) is a main commercial street in Athens that gathers 110 stores – filled with traditional objects, souvenirs and antiques – and can be considered itself as a journey through time and history.
The travel bloggers from all over the world surely enjoyed the Athenian hospitality and had a very unique tourist experience.
