Greece’s hoteliers have joined forces with local wine producers to promote branded Greek wines as part of efforts to upgrade the wine tourism experience.
Aiming to promote the vineyards and wines of the island of Kefalonia, seven local wineries joined forces and formed the Kefalonia Winemakers Association.
Set to become one of the world’s fine wine tourism destinations, the Greek island of Santorini will host the 1st Wine Tourism Congress (IMIC 2016) on October 14-16 at the Petros M Nomikos Conference Center in Firostefani.
