DEI International Tour of Hellas 2024 is set to unfold from May 15th to May 19th, covering a staggering 759.4 kilometers across 5 stages, 4 regions, and 22 municipalities. With 120 elite athletes, 4 distinctive jerseys, and 20 powerhouse teams, get ready for an adrenaline-pumping showcase of speed, endurance, and the beauty of Greece on two wheels!
120 athletes representing 20 cycling teams – amongst them the National teams of Greece and Cyprus – will be looking to earn the blue jersey for the winner of the general classification along with the other individual accolades and will race through enchanting landscapes across the entire country: From the ‘Nymph of Thermaikos’ the captivating Thessaloniki, to the bustling beach of Katerini, the fertile Thessalian plain, the cycling hub of Karditsa, the wild nature of Karpenisi, the fertile lands of Spercheiada, the Straits of Euripus in Chalkida, all the way to the cradle of world civilization, Athens.
Organisers Cycling Greece aspire to present one of the best routes in the history of the Tour, by connecting the two major metropolitan areas of the country: Thessaloniki as the starting point and Athens as the final destination.
Additionally, the DEI International Tour of Hellas 2024 will also feature several side activities for cycling fans of all ages, to spread awareness about the sport and promote bikes as an alternative means of transportation.
