From 16 to 24 September, you can be part of Attica Gaia Festival 2023 – New Thesmoforia in 7 unique events with a common reference to the culture and the fertile land of Attica. A celebration of the Attica Land, a meeting point between culture, tourism and the primary sector, is organized in Attica, on the initiative of the Region of Attica, under the auspices of the Hellenic Tourism Organization.
Starting with the promotion of Thesmoforia, the Attica Gaia Festival 2023 – New Thesmoforia comes to build a meeting point for the land of Attica and its products, the natural environment, the history and the rich cultural heritage. With a focus on community empowerment and sustainable development, the Festival brings together locals and visitors in a harmonious celebration of Attica Earth’s past, present and future.
Through innovative actions, traditional events and modern digital experiences, the “Attica Gaia Festival | New Thesmoforia ” is a driving force for promoting the best of Attica to the world.
Events to highlight the Attica Land and its agri-food products, experiential education actions of an environmental and agri-food nature, as well as actions to highlight the cultural heritage of Attica. Educational and experiential workshops at the Antonis Tritsis Park, cultural events of traditional dances at the Fertilizers Multipurpose Hall of the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona, musical-theatrical performances at the Attica Grove Theatre “Katina Paxinou”, Gastronomic events, modern mixologist tasting experiences will highlight the culinary wealth of Attica & its connection with culture.
