Domestic Tourism Leaves Unclear Picture In August

Special offers at Greek destinations and discounts on hotel prices did the trick during the peak August holiday season as Greek holidaymakers did in fact travel domestically although in obviously lesser numbers compared to last year, press reports said last month.

GNTO’s “Tourism for All” Program Launched

The “Tourism for All” discounted vacation program will run as of this month until 31 May 2013, according to a decision signed last month by Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni aimed to boost the domestic tourism market.
