A ferry link connecting the island of Kythira with Piraeus appears to be on hold after the tender launched by the shipping ministry remained fruitless.
The Greek Shipping Ministry has invited ferry operators to express their interest in serving the routes on the Piraeus-Kythira-Antikythira-Kastelli line.
The "Vitsentzos Kornaros" ship serving the Piraeus-Kythira, Antikythira and Kissamos route will remain in port until June 30 due to mechanical failure.
