Some 28 cruise ships are set to approach Milos by October 17, according to the Municipal Port Fund, with new ferry links making the island even more accessible.
Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura invited sea and cruise tourism stakeholders to place their bets on Greece, during the 4th Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum.
Despite forecasts of robust growth for the international cruise travel industry, the sector in Greece is barely keeping its head above the water with local industry insiders speaking of a 25 percent decline in traffic for 2017 and the same trend in 2018.
