Northern Greece, which includes cities such as Thessaloniki and Halkidiki, is among the “most underrated destinations”, according to a poll presented during WTM London 2022.
The Thessaly Region has launched “Routes of Faith”, an ambitious tourism project that aims to connect two of Greece’s most significant religious destinations: Meteora and Mount Athos.
Thessaloniki was promoted as a tourism destination to German and Polish professionals during two fam trips organized by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
