The Greek culture ministry revealed on Monday that archaeologists and researchers have discovered more than one skeleton in the Amphipolis tomb on Kasta Hill.
A group of Greek graphic artists have launched a very interesting application that gives the opportunity to those captivated by the excavation in Amphipolis to experience the burial mound at Kasta hill as it was in antiquity and even take a closer look inside.
The Caryatids of the burial mound at Kasta hill in Amphipolis, Greece, are standing on pedestals that are 1.40 m high and 1.36 m wide. The statues along with their bases reach a total height of 3.67 m.
"We are in front of an extremely important find," Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras said during his visit to Ancient Amphipolis in Serres, Central Macedonia, northern Greece, where archaeologists are digging what appears to be the entrance of an important tomb.
