PM Tsipras: Extra Levy on Greek Hotels Postponed to 2018

The government is postponing until 2018 a new levy that was to be charged on accommodation this year, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said during the 24th annual general assembly of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) on Thursday.

Greece’s Seamen Call 48-hour Strike, Nov 2-4

The Pan-Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) has called a 48-hour strike, effective as of 6am on Monday, November 2, until 6am on Wednesday, November 4, in response to "the new regulations and requirements of the third memorandum".
