The Greek economy is expected to shrink by 9.5 percent in 2020 due to the Covid-19 shock, which has interrupted the country’s economic recovery, the IMF said.
Support for Greek businesses and employees who are out of a job due to the Covid-19 health crisis, will be provided in May if needed, according to Finance Minister Christos Staikouras.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is forecasting that the Greek economy will contract by 10% this year as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak that has devastated the world.
