The volume of online social conversations for both Greece and Athens in July saw an important boost as visitation to the country and the city increased.
Days after Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras pledged to double spending on the promotion of Greece abroad, adding that the country brand is its “intangible asset”, a study by Canada’s Carleton University reveals that Greece’s brand name is no longer opening doors to business.
Promoting Greece abroad and boosting the country’s image is a top priority for the government, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Tuesday, adding that he will double the given budget to 10 million euros to achieve the best results for both the economy and society.
