The largest waterway network in Greece, which includes 30 seaplane ports in the South Aegean, is in the final stretch, according to operator Grecian Air Seaplanes.
The construction of a seaplane port southeast of Athens at Lavrio, set to handle hydroplane flights, has received the go-ahead from Greek authorities paving the way for the region of Attica to launch operations.
Greek authorities have approved the construction of two seaplane airports at Porto Heli and Ermioni in the Peloponnese, according to an announcement by Greek Water Airports.
