The Thessaly Region has launched “Routes of Faith”, an ambitious tourism project that aims to connect two of Greece’s most significant religious destinations: Meteora and Mount Athos.
Elassona Mayor Nikos Gatsas is determined to raise awareness about the region and create a fully-fledged tourism product that will attract visitors and generate income for the area.
