Nel Lines Acquires New Vessels and Merges with C-Link

As we go to press, shareholders of Nel-Lesvos Maritime are being asked to back a 23-million capital increase that will be used in part to acquire five used vessels. Two of the vessels are passenger ferries with Cypriot flags and three are ro-ro vessels under the Greek flag.

Hellas Jet, a creation of Cyprus Airways, continues its search for a buyer after Dutch and British buyers backed out of a possible purchase agreement. Press reports say the airline will be forced to shut down.

Hellas Jet Gets Operator’s License

Cyprus Airways subsidiary, Hellas Jet, picked up an air operator's license for Greece but is still waiting on a commercial license. Although the airline had hoped to begin flights on June 23, as we go to press there has been no further announcements as to when flights will begin.
