Grekland Panorama organizers are visiting the island of Crete, as their first stop in a series of destination events aiming to inform local tourism professionals about the Polish and Swedish markets, where this year’s “Panorama Greece” exhibitions will take place.
Tourism professionals in Rethymno, Crete, had the chance to learn more about the ambitious “We Do Local” initiative granting annual certification to ventures that successfully support and promote the island’s products.
With over 250 participants, this year’s Hospitality Forum & Awards, organized last month by Ethos Media events and Hrima magazine, laid the groundwork for tourism to work as a driver of economic growth by indicating funding solutions.
The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels honored the Greek hotel association’s that were first to sign the “Greek Breakfast” local quality pact and this way promote the country’s gastronomy through their hotel members and contribute to the enrichment of Greece’s tourism product.
The island of Rhodes and its hotels will be introduced to thousands of Swedes on 15-16 February at a special booth set up in the main entrance of the Gallerian shopping mall in Stockholm, Sweden.
