Travelport on Thursday announced a new agreement with Greek carrier Ellinair through which the airline will now distribute its flights via the Travelport Travel Commerce Platform.
One of the largest American travel companies, Pleasant Holidays, has added Greece to its roster of destinations, as well as two Windstar Cruises from Athens to Istanbul.
Travelport recently recently entered into a long-term global agreement with travel management company BCD Travel, which operates in more than 100 countries globally and services about 30 percent of the top 100 largest companies in the world ranked by total annual airline volume.
Lufthansa recently briefed Greek travel agents on the Group’s extensive network of products and services in North America at a special event held at the Hard Rock Café in Athens.
