The EU and Armenia have signed an aviation agreement, giving more travelling choices to citizens and ensuring better connectivity with new routes and destinations.
Four carriers from Nigeria, Ukraine and Zimbabwe were added to the revised EU Air Safety List, while all airlines from Benin and Mozambique were removed.
The previous year was the safest in aviation history, according to Aviation Safety Network (ASN), despite two deadly disasters with a toll of 374 people.
"While aviation safety was in the headlines in 2014, the data show that flying continues to improve its safety performance", Tony Tyler, the director general and CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), said on Monday.
