The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has suspended Greece’s Astra Airlines, which is reportedly seeking a new partner to inject much needed funds.
Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority is assessing whether Astra Airlines will be able to continue operations after the carrier recently cancelled a number of flights.
Airlines have slashed the number of scheduled seats to Greece by 7 percent, or 1.3 million, this year compared to 2018, according to findings released by INSETE.
