Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city, is struggling to attract visitors, recording only 531,806 overnight stays in the first 8 months of the year, down by 0.04% over the same period in 2020.
The Greek hotel sector is mildly optimistic for the first quarter of 2015 and expects slight improvements in occupancy levels and room rates for the market in general in comparison with the performance of last year.
