Agrotima Finances Under Investigation

Illegal activities were found to allegedly have taken place at the Greek sustainable tourism organization, Agrotima, according to a recent report of the public administration inspectors’ agency. Culture and Tourism Minister Pavlos Geroulanos has sent the file to the prosecutor.

Agritourism Gains Ground

Tourism Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos said recently that the new agritourism company "Agrotima SA" is the corporate section of the promotion and implementation of the tourism ministry's policies on issues of specific forms of rural tourism and mild recreational activities.

Aristotelis Thomopoulos, president of Helexpo, inaugurates the 24th Philoxenia tourism exhibition. During his speech, he underlined the fact that this year's exhibition is improved and more commercial given the participation of 25 foreign countries, the high attendance of tourism agencies and the strong presence of the hotel equipment exhibition Hotelia and the Philoxenia Spa Expo.
