The YPERIA International Convention on Tourism and Culture will be held during 31 October – 5 November 2018 on Amorgos island, for the 16th consecutive year.
The Convention aims to promote the natural beauty and culture of Amorgos, foster an exchange of ideas on cultural heritage preservation, as well as present and promote current projects on the island of Amorgos.
Just like every year, YPERIA is expecting a great number of participants: journalists, filmmakers, producers, photographers/reporters and tour operators.
This year the theme of the convention is “Gastronomy – Culture & Tourism”, as a tribute to the South Aegean Region as the Gastronomy Region of Europe 2019.
Representatives of Women’s Associations in the Cyclades and the Municipalities of South Aegean Region will present their products, their local flavors and dishes.
The 9th Amorgos Tourism Film Festival will take place within the frame of YPERIA.
The convention will be held in English and is organized by the Cultural Association of Women of Amorgos in cooperation with the Municipality of Amorgos and the South Aegean Region.
