As a driving force in the travel industry, ITB Berlin gives important impulses to a continuously growing market. In 2019 a total of 10,000 companies and organisations from 180 countries exhibited their products and services to around 160,000 visitors, including 113.500 trade visitors.
The Technology, Tours & Activities segment, held last year for the very first time within ITB Berlin, will once more gather the tourism industry’s most important groups at ITB Berlin who all share the same goal: promoting and selling in-destination services. Both major players and small startups will be showcasing their innovative products in this new exhibition and meeting area in the Adventure Travel Hall (4.1)
Since 1966, the structure of ITB Berlin was developed and expanded. In the exhibition area, trade visitors as well as public visitors have the chance to explore the international travel industry’s entire product spectrum.
ITB Berlin has been established as the leading B2B-Platform of all tourism industry offers. In addition, the world’s largest tourism convention ITB Berlin Convention provides unique opportunities to benefit from the leading think tank of the global tourism industry. All levels of the value added chain are present: Tour operators, booking engines, destinations, airlines, and hotels right through to car rental companies.
The ITB Berlin Convention will take place during 4-7 March 2020, remaining a top-notch and visionary convention program with high-ranking speakers from the industry, science and politics addresses the latest trends and challenges of the global tourism sector.
Following the success of the two previous events, from 6 to 8 March 2020 the Berlin Travel Festival will be taking place for the third time, thus bringing a new generation of travellers together with new forms of travel.
Taking as its main theme ‘Where is paradise?’, the festival will underline its pioneering role in promoting mindful, sustainable and responsible travel.
